Ear Examination Close-up
Hearing & Speech Testing

Upon arrival, we will have you fill out a client intake form so we are up to date on personal and medical records. We will discuss what insurance is accepted and what benefits are available to you.

An initial assessment and thorough evaluation will then be conducted in regards to your hearing concerns, medical history, and lifestyle.

Hearing evaluations include pure-tone air conduction and bone conduction testing, followed by speech audiometry. Speech testing helps assess your ability to understand spoken words in a quiet environment.

Recommendations & Fittings

If the assessment indicates hearing loss, an audiogram will be conducted to determine the severity of the hearing loss.

Additional tests may be done to determine frequencies. These tests may include, but are not limited to, listening to recited words and repeating what was heard.

If it is determined that hearing aids are needed, we will recommend the best hearing aids that are specific to your hearing loss. Fittings are also conducted to see what feels the most comfortable and natural to you.
