Shawna has been a resident of Central Missouri for over 30 years. She grew up in southern Missouri and made her way to Fulton, MO where she raised four children.

 

Shawna later began her career in physical therapy, earning her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). With over 20 years of experience, she specialized in fall prevention, vestibular rehab, and cognitive and memory deficits. She continues to hold her PTA license to this date.

As healthcare evolved, Shawna developed a passion for the hearing care profession and opened Select Hearing in 2025. She is dedicated to improving her patients' hearing, quality of life, and overall well-being, offering compassionate care and a personalized approach. Most importantly, she enjoys building relationships with her patients and going above and beyond for each of them.

Outside of her professional life, Shawna is married and enjoys cycling along the Katy Trail, quilting, and spending time with her children and seven grandchildren.
